Itinerary

Day 1: Marrakech – Aguersioual – Assarou

Meet your guide at the hotel and transfer to Aguersioual village (1600m).

Here, meet your cook and muleteers, and begin your hike ascending to Aguersioual Pass (2100m).

Enjoy a picnic by the river at Ikhiss village (1700m).

Continue along the Imnane Valley, passing through a series of villages to Assarou (2200m). Camp overnight.

 

Walking time: 6 hours

Day 2: Assarou – Azib Likemt – Azib Tifni

This morning, hike up from the camp towards lkemt Pass (3600m), offering panoramic views of the Atlas peaks and Imnane Valley.

Descend in zigzags to Azib Likemt (2600m) for lunch.

Continue ascending along the valley to your camp at Azib Tifni (2900m).

 

Walking time: 6 hours

Day 3: Azib Tifni – Tighaline – Asmouzert – Ait Igrane

Today, hike towards Tighaline Pass (3100m), then traverse along the mountain side before descending to Tisaldai village for a picnic by the river.

Continue along the valley Amsouzerte village and ascend slightly to camp at Ait Igrane (1800m).

 

Walking time: 7 hours

Day 4: Ait Igrane – Imin Wassif Gorges – Lac Ifni

A shorter day today as you hike up to Lake Ifni (2300m) and continue to Imin Wassif Gorges (2400m) where you’ll set up camp.

Enjoy lunch and a relaxing afternoon.

 

Walking time: 4 hours

Day 5: Lac Ifni – Tizi Ouanoums – Summit of Toubkal – Refuge

A challenging day awaits as you hike along the gorges to Tizi Ouanoums Pass (3600m), then follow a trail gradually ascending to Toubkal Pass (4000m).

Continue along the ridge to the summit of Toubkal (4167m), the highest peak in North Africa, offering stunning panoramic views of the Atlas Mountains and valleys below.

Enjoy a snack break at the summit before descending via zigzag trails to Neltner Refuge (3200m). Dinner and overnight at the refuge.

 

Walking time: 7 hours

Day 6: Refuge – Sidi Chamharouch – Armed

Today, descend leisurely along the river to Sidi Chamharouch Shrine (2300m) for a tea break.

Continue to Armed village (2000m) for lunch at a local house.

In the evening, hike along a mountain trail passing by Tidli waterfalls (2300m), then descend to Tamaterte village (1800m) before returning to the guesthouse in Armed.

Dinner and overnight at the guesthouse.
